Happy Valentine’s Day everyone, for yesterday! I wanted to share with you another Valentine’s Day inspired outfit, but this one is different to my previous one as it’s baby pink and white instead of dark burgundy. I wanted to go for something a little more girly and romantic this time around. If you are thinking that I must have been freezing taking these photos, you are correct, ha ha.
I was wearing a baby pink dress from ASOS and a pair of their pastel pink heels to match. I layered my Zara white blazer over the top and wore my Mulberry denim candy pink Lily bag as well. The rose that I’m holding was what my boyfriend gave to me yesterday, I thought it added a nice touch to the look. I also had on my Topshop necklace which I have worn quite a few times before. I didn’t take any photos while I was out yesterday as I wanted to enjoy the day with my boyfriend without any photo stress, but we did go out to lunch at our favourite Italian and then watched a movie at the cinema. It was a really nice day together and I had fun! I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day too! What do you think of the outfit?
You look really lovely. That colour suits you perfectly! 🙂
Thank you so much! 🙂
Hi, Lorna, you look absolutely fabulous, you chose such right colors I mean taking into account your hair and eye color. And that photo with you holding a rose makes me say that you are an English Rose yourself 🙂 <3 Zhanna, http://www.stylehenge.com

Simply stunning Lorna! It’s one of your best.
Are we supposed to wear heels one size bigger? I am thinking of buying a pair of pumps and have never worn high heels before. I have read somewhere that heels should be worn a size bigger. Is it true? How do you buy your heels? Please help…
Thank you! And no it’s not true at all, I’ve never read that before. More often than not, heels run bigger than flats and I end up sizing down. You just buy heels in your normal size like you would flat shoes. For your first pair I would recommend trying them on in a store because the higher they are the harder they are to walk in and you may want to start with a lower heel and work up. I had to do it that way. Start with 2.5 or 3 inches and get used to them. Let me know if you need more advice!
Thank you Bella!
A romantic look for V-day! you look stunning in this pink dress!

Normally, I’d say that this baby pink wouldn’t be in good taste for real lady like you 🙂
But the white blazer ties it all together so well in a look of elegance and sweetness.
Perfect for that special romantic candlelight dinner.
And Lorna, I just love the fifth photo, the close-up where you tilt your head and smile the
most beautiful smile ever.
For guys out there who may have forgotten it: This is what makes life so wonderful !
Kisses and compliments.
