Cream Denim Midi Skirt With A Crochet Top
Can you believe that it’s almost October? Where on earth did this month go? I swear it was only last week I was writing about August ending. This time really goes by way too fast, doesn’t it? I still have a few summery outfits to share with you, and I think we’re going into a heatwave next week (apparently?), so I guess that’s still relevant before we jump into my autumn looks for 2023.
For this outfit, I wore my Stradivarius Denim Midi Skirt in Cream, which I paired with my Stradivarius Crochet Top in Cream as well (you saw that here). I usually wouldn’t wear two shades that are identical on the top and bottom, however, if you can see here, I broke it up with some colours, textures and proportions.
I added in a Small Gucci GG Belt in Tan, which just adds a breaking point to the combination, especially because the top is cropped as well, it plays with the proportions, plus I think it’s the perfect colour for the cream base!

For my other accessories, I went with my Saint Laurent YSL Small Kate in Taupe, which I think really glams the whole outfit up. Especially because the gold hardware matches my gold jewellery – from Daisy London. There’s something so elegant and fancy about touches of gold in your look when it comes to beautiful jewellery and accents.
Then for my shoes, I went with my Abercrombie & Fitch Brown Sandals that I’ve had for multiple years. I tend to wear brown sandals a lot in the summertime as they’re just so easy to wear. You can’t really go wrong with them. They’re probably the most elegant summer shoe you can wear.
I actually really love shooting photos in the Botanical Gardens in the summertime as it’s so beautiful there. Hopefully I can shoot some more during the cooler months and it wont look too sparse. I know some gorgeous locations though for autumn leaves, so we should have some good photos coming in November! Anyway, what do you think of this cream and brown outfit? Let me know!
