A Stradivarius Long Denim Maxi Skirt Outfit
I guess we are pretty much in the summer right now? Does mid June count as summer? The weather out here in the United States has been so hot! It was reaching 32C (91F) at one point, but it’s cooled down a lot temporarily, until it starts to heat back up again.
How are you all anyway? Speaking of warmer weather, we had some nice hot days before I flew out here, so my mum and I made sure to shoot quite a few outfits in the Botanical Gardens, and lets just say, if you’re loving the denim maxi skirt trend, I’ve got some great upcoming looks for you!
For this outfit here, I was wearing a Stradivarius Denim Maxi Skirt that I picked up from the brand last month. Can you believe it’s only £35? It’s really good quality too! It’s of course a little long on my 5ft 4 frame, but with heels, it’s absolutely perfect! I took a size UK 10 in it, and it’s pretty true to size! The denim itself is rigid, so there’s not much stretch to it, but the colour is gorgeous! The wash is what makes me love it! Isn’t it pretty? And I also love the raw hem that it has.
I paired my denim maxi skirt with my Stradivarius Floral Crochet Cami Top, which I took in size medium. It’s a gorgeous creamy oatmeal shade that matches perfectly to my accessories here and is a lovely complement to my skin tone. This top comes in black and brown as well (I own black) and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a cropped, summery, super fun little item!
Now for my boots, I went with my Sam Edelman Wrenley Boots in Cream. These have a 4 inch heel or so, so they’re ideal for the length of my denim maxi skirt. If I try and wear flats, it drags across the floor. These boots really go well with the off white pieces I’m wearing in this outfit, which of course brings me to the next item…
I was wearing my Saint Laurent YSL Small Manhattan Bag in Blanc Vintage again! As you can tell, I absolutely adore this bag and I’ve worn it with so many outfits already. I will say that I’m absolutely terrified when I do wear it as it’s white and delicate, but so far so good! It’s probably one of the most versatile bags in my collection.
Then to finish everything off, I went with my Daisy London Gold Jewellery pieces in the form of their iconic Vita necklace, and some of their popular rings as well. I love matching the colour of my jewellery to the hardware on my bags. I think it’s a great finishing touch. As always, please let me know what you think of this summery outfit in the comments below!
