Allsaints Aleida Black Blazer & Shorts Outfit

Happy Monday everyone! I can’t believe how warm it is and how hot it’s going to be this week when we’re already in September. It just seems crazy to me! But as we are heading straight into Autumn very soon, I thought it would be good to share with you some tailored options which are also perfect for the warmer weather.

I was wearing this shorts suit set from Allsaints here. It’s the Allsaints Aleida Blazer in Black, which I paired with their matching Allsaints Aleida Shorts in Black. These two pieces together are such a great combination! You can buy the trousers to match, which I do own from seasons ago, but this time I opted for the shorts as I think it’s a great transitional piece. Plus, the shorts look great on their own!

I took the shorts in a UK 10 and the jacket in a UK 8, and it gives a really comfy fit! This set has been a staple on their website for years now, so it’s a classic! Allsaints release different colours in it every season, but black remains one of the sets that is a permanent fixture.

For the rest of the outfit, to go with the Allsaints Aleida Shorts and Blazer, I opted for my Hollister Black Baby Tee as I wanted to make a whole black ensemble. I took this in size small and these are some of my favourite t-shirts! I own 4 colours and I own multiples as well as I have been living in them. They have that perfect length and feminine, cute fit, so I cannot recommend these tees enough! They dress up and down!

I then chose to wear my Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Sneakers as they really do bring an edge to the outfit, but they’re really sleek and slim too, so they add a chic vibe to the whole thing. I think black footwear would work just as well, and maybe even a bit better, but I definitely wanted to bring in more casual elements here, hence why I went with Golden Goose as they’re distressed.

Now getting to my bag, I opted for my Saint Laurent YSL Small Solferino Bag in Tan, which I think adds more of a casual element again! It’s one of the easiest bags to wear for simple and tailored looks. Much like the suit itself, it’s the perfect combination of smart and easy, which is why I love this bag! I will admit that it’s super small though and it can be annoying when I want to take out more than just a phone and a bank card, but it’s one of those bags that has a gorgeous look!
