The Zara Pastel Blue Leather Jacket

This Zara Pastel Blue Faux Leather Jacket had been on my want list for absolutely ages! As soon as it came in stock online it had sold out and wasn’t available at most stores. It was already selling for £100 plus on eBay, which I wasn’t willing to pay, but I somehow managed to find it at the store in Bristol! I had it reserved and picked it up the next day, which I was ecstatic about as it’s amazing.

Pastel blue leather jackets are so popular right now and a lot of people are spotted out in their own, but I wanted to style mine with another pastel colour and some black. I chose my Hush Neon Purple Tee and then my old James Jeans Moto Jeans in Blackout. I have had these jeans for a few years and I still love them as much as I did in the beginning. They are super skinny and have an amazing fit, which is something I always look for in denim! To keep with the black theme to make my legs look longer, I wore my trusty KG by Kurt Geiger Winona boots.

Speaking of the pastel blue leather jacket trend though, you can check out my round up of them on my fashion blog The Fashion Supernova and you can also check out my Mother’s Day beauty gift guide that I put together too! Don’t forget to enter my £200 Hush giveaway by clicking here! Let me know what you think of my outfit! I would love to know!

Hi I love this jacket and it looks lovely on you!! Just wondering what size to get… I’m a 6-8 but always opt for a size bigger in jackets, so 8-10. Zara’s sizing is different though (Xs s m etc) – what would you recommend? And how does it fit and feel? Many thanks! X

Hi! I took size S and it fits snug. I can’t wear it with a jumper underneath, only a t-shirt. I can’t zip it up either because of my chest, but for Zara I would say it’s true to size. I’m a UK 6-8 too, but if you like it looser maybe pick an M as it will be more roomy. It’s sturdy and a really nice quality, it’s lovely!

I love how you in your style continue to navigate the difficult waters between the delicately romantic (the pastel colors) and the irresistibly sexy (jeans + heels); all topped with the sweet beauty of your face. Another one for the best-of-2014 shortlist. You’re the best, Lorna.

Love the Hush tee, reminds me of Wilt but a bit more fitted! Cute look!! I am more of a neutral girl myself though so I would have done a white tee but those are great colors to ring in Spring! The blue jacket is uh-may-zing! And those jeans fit you like a glove!

I was thinking of going with white, but I literally always wear a white or grey tee, so decided upon purple for this one! Thanks!

    Hi,

Your outfit is great 🙂 ! That jacket is really amazing! I just bought it online in pink, size S. I generally wear an EU size 38 and all of my jackets from Zara are size S. So I`m wondering if it will fit or not? Would you be so kind telling me how tall are you, so i can figure out if I made the right decision? Sounds a bit silly, but maybe it will help 🙂 .

    Best regards,

    Helena

Hi Helena, I’m not sure what a 36 is, is that a 10? I found this jacket to actually run pretty small. I’m about a EU 34 I think as I’m an 8 and my size S here is pretty tight on my arms, but I’m usually a XS – S in Zara jackets, the S tends to be a little loose on me, but with this one, it was pretty tight, but mainly in my arms as I don’t have the slimmest of arms. I’m 5ft 5, so it’s not a really long jacket, it’s pretty cropped 🙂 I hope all of this helps you 🙂 It’s free to return anyway so it shouldn’t be a problem if you need to exchange. I did see the pink one, it’s really pretty, but it’s not ‘pink enough’ for me lol!

Hello I just ordered this jacket in pink.. I ordered a small but im usually an 8, just wondered if it stretched at all as I wanted it to be more of a jacket than a coat! thanks hun xxx

Hi, I’m a size UK 8 too and have the size S, it’s really really tight though. It’s not stretched, but I have only worn it twice!
