Being a UK fashion blogger is often difficult at times when preparing outfits and locations. We are stuck at the moment between sunny spells and rain showers, so picking the right time to shoot photos is so awkward, ha ha. But, that’s the joys of living in England I suppose! My boyfriend and I were searching around for a great spot to take the photos, trying to avoid the wind as well and then we ended up coming across a park I had never found before, despite living here in Bath for 25 years! It’s called Henrietta Park and it’s in the middle of the town, off some side streets. It’s really quaint and beautiful with hardly anyone around! It turned out to be the perfect location!
Getting to my outfit, I bought this gorgeous Yellow Zara Zipper Coat at the same time that I purchased the pastel blue leather jacket. I fell in love with it online and the way it fits is amazing! It’s so classic and tailored, but really fun because it’s bright yellow. The zip only goes half way up as well so it sort of splits from the waist down, it’s so unique! I definitely can’t wait to wear it more! To keep with the tailored and classic theme, I wore my James Jeans Couture Skinny Jeans in Vesper as they are one of my most flattering pairs of jeans with an intense ink wash! You can’t get more sleek than these! I then wore my Topshop Burgundy Peplum Top as I love this top! I think it’s really smart as it has a higher neckline and the peplum is really flattering. I find it accentuates the hips in a slim way, plus it hides any muffin top, so you can’t go wrong with it! I tucked my jeans into my Zara Wedge Boots as these are pretty easy to walk in, comfortable and they go with anything. I always opt for these if I need a lower heel that’s sturdy, but a more pointed toe. Then for my bag, I wanted to have some more red in the mix, so I chose my Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAB in Port Burgundy. I really like how the whole combination turned out actually! It’s a lot more classic than what I would usually wear and it still keeps that fun and colourful vibe I always go for! What do you think of it? Comment and let me know as always!

In Seattle, we have the same problem – too many rainy days. However, your photos always manage to turn out beautifully. Today’s outfit looks especially lovely. I like your jacket a lot.

Ooh, a question I’ve forgotten to ask (boy, am I late lol) what fabric is this coat made of? At first I thought it was leather but now I’m not so sure! Thanks in advance!
Author
Oh it’s not leather, it’s like a stretchy jersey material, so I assume a cotton/poly type of blend, but I will check for you as soon as I can!
I’m crazy about your coat! I love it and it’s really stunning together with the burgundy top: AMAZING!

I absolutely love the look ! It’s amazing how burgundy/plum and yellow are both quite bright but still look gorgeous together. I love to wear mine with simple jeans, and my plum Zara bag (like here http://www.manigazer.com/home/plum-yellow).
I’d love to see other ways you’ll rock this coat !
