(Jeans – Exact, Shirt – Similar, Boots – Similar, Necklace – Similar, Bracelets – Similar)
I got sent these American Eagle Sky High Jeggings in Medium Destroyed as part of a mailer from the brand, so you should be seeing quite a few of them out and about soon on celebs and other fashion bloggers! For a denim brand that isn’t premium and has jeans on the lower priced side, I’ve always liked American Eagle. The fit of their jeans is actually really good and the back pockets are always flattering, despite them not being made in the US or premium.
They do tend to stretch out quite a lot, as expected, but these high rise jeggings are really cool! The rise really does come up to just below your belly button, but the back pockets are still in the right place to be flattering, not to mention they are skinny all the way down to the ankle with a perfect inseam. I couldn’t be happier with these actually (when it comes to cheaper jeans) and if you are looking for a distressed medium blue wash, with a low price point, these might be a good option for you!
Since these do have a low price point (I don’t always wear premium, maybe just 99% of the time, ha ha), I wanted to style the entire outfit on a budget, so you wont find any designer pieces on me in this look. I paired the jeans with a Forever 21 tie front shirt and my owl necklace which is also from the brand. I then chose my River Island booties that I got a couple of years ago but haven’t really worn before and threw on a few various bracelets to tie it together. There wasn’t much colour in this outfit though since it’s quite neutral, so that’s why I went for a bold red lip, just to add a little pop to the combination. My absolute 1st place Favourite of your Autumn 2014 looks!
Wow!!! This outfit grabbed me straight away. You look beyond amazing in these jeans. I think they’re one of the best pairs that I’ve seen you in so I was very surprised to learn in the entry that they’re also amongst the cheapest. I would honestly never have guessed that in a million years if you’d not said.
Aside from the perfect fit of the jeans I also really love the colours. I don’t think I’ve seen very many examples of you wearing jeans in as lighter shades of blue as these are. These kinds of blues suits you so well though. 😀
The shirt is pretty but simple and compliments the jeans well without taking too much attention away from them and the owl necklace is a bit of an eyecatcher. 🙂
So although, I guess, this is maybe more of an outfit that you happened to wear in autumn (rather than an actual autumn outfit as such)? I have to say it’s my favourite of the season. 🙂

I honestly didn’t expect this one to be on your radar at all, Steven. I didn’t think it would be a look you considered. Funnily enough, it was something I threw together on the spur of the moment and it had Adam’s choices behind it too. He chose the shirt with the jeans and we chose the boots together, so he really knows how to make things work too 😀
