ALLSAINTS Leni Coat in Taupe with Sam Edelman Blake Booties
As I mentioned quite a few times already, ALLSAINTS had a huge 30% off sale over the weekend in light of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This was something that excited me to no end! So much so that I was awake at 4:30am putting my order through when the code appeared (thanks to a friend on Instagram who told me) and I’m glad that I did as come morning, everything was almost sold out. I love the excitement of sales and getting caught up in purchasing the last pieces before they go out of stock, it’s such a thrill, ha ha. I’m sure a lot of you fashion bloggers will know what I’m on about as I know you love shopping too!
Anyway, this ALLSAINTS Leni Coat in Taupe was one of my purchases and I can’t believe I got it for such a good price. The Leni is the updated version of the past seasons Lori coat that I have in Prince of Wales Check Grey and a Tan colour (here and here) but when I first saw this Taupe shade, I knew it was beautiful. I’d seen it in the store weeks ago, but wasn’t attracted to the price and the similarity to my other coats, but when it went in the sale, it’s a whole new story. The Taupe shade actually goes with everything, both warm and cool colours, and that’s hard to find with a coat as it’s usually one or the other. I took it in a size UK 8 as it’s not an overly warm coat, I wanted to be able to fit layers underneath and I can with this size.
I decided to style my ALLSAINTS Leni Coat with my Hudson Barbara Jeans in Hideaway (love the comfort of these so much!) and a simple white Oasis Jumper. I decided to accessorize in shades of brown and beige, going for my Burberry Cashmere Check Scarf in Chestnut Brown, my Celine Nano Luggage in Dune, and my new Sam Edelman Blake Booties in Woodland Brown. I love the muted colour palette of this with the pop of blue from the denim, I think it all works really well. Plus, how cute are these new boots? I’ve always been a fan of Sam Edelman shoes, and when I saw these, I was in love! The heel is low enough to be comfortable to wear for hours around town and the colour is stunning. They are perfect!
I’m always happy that Adam loves ALLSAINTS too and he managed to pick up the Falun Coat for himself in Charcoal Grey, and he looks incredible in it! I’ve never seen such a unique, and gorgeous coat. It has an attached blazer inside so you can wear the coat open with the blazer front done up, so there’s three ways to wear the Falun – it’s amazing! We shot his photos the same day we took these ones, so you should keep an eye out on his men’s fashion blog next week for it! We were dressed quite similar actually as he was wearing his Burberry scarf that I bought him for his birthday, and these Hudson Jeans as well, ha ha! Still, we went to a fancy restaurant here called Loch Fyne so the outfits were appropriate. The temperatures have dropped so much now though I think I’m going out in nothing but a ski suit! The frost on the grass hasn’t melted in days… Anyway, what do you think of my outfit? Comment and let me know!
P.S. – I’m 15th in the Feed Spot list of the Top 100 Fashion Blogs in the UK! Yay!
