Black Off The Shoulder Dress With A YSL Kate Bag
Happy Friday everyone! The weather has been really warm and it’s been summer dress weather every single day! That doesn’t mean you can’t wear black when it’s hot out though, especially if you have one of the cutest dresses around – like this one. An all black outfit can be perfect. Nobody said the LBD had to be for evenings and cooler weather only.
My dress that I’m wearing here is by Abercrombie & Fitch. It’s a puff sleeve shoulder dress, but I like to wear the sleeves down on my arms as an off the shoulder style to create a flirty, ruched look. The dress is elasticated so it’s easy to get on and off, and I love it so much that I purchased it in 4 other colour options!
It hits me at mid thigh too for the overall length, which is absolutely perfect. In terms of sizing, this is a size small and it does fit pretty snug in the bust, but the medium was way too big. So I’d say it’s fairly true to size, just a bit tighter in the chest area, like all Abercrombie pieces.
I decided to pair this little black dress with my Saint Laurent YSL Small Kate Bag in Black as I think it’s the most gorgeous bag pairing! The gold hardware and chain really elevates the dress and makes it classy. I then finished off the outfit with my Schutz Black Sandals, and lots of gold jewellery from Daisy London and Lily & Roo, completing the whole ensemble.
There’s not a huge amount to this look as it’s really simple and minimal, but it’s all down to the accessories that make or break an outfit, and that’s why those are so important! What’s your opinion on this outfit? Do you like the black dress with the YSL Kate bag?
