A Country Girl Outfit With Wellies

A Country Girl Outfit With Wellies

As I said in my previous wellies outfit post, I had two more to share with you soon, and here is the last one! I was very fond of the pink and magenta elements of the previous outfit, but I think I like this one a lot more. It feels very ‘me’ and very autumnal, which is very classic of a country walk.

These photos were taken by a sheep field which is up at Lansdown Crescent here in Bath. It’s such a beautiful location as it combines old architecture and posh buildings with woodland ares and fields. It’s a place that has some of the most gorgeous scenery too as it’s up high and the views are endless! It’s not really considered a tourist location at all as it’s residential, but for anyone visiting Bath, it’s worth a drive.

For this outfit, I was wearing my Superdry Hooded Classic Puffer Jacket in Woodsmoke, that you saw in my post from before. I am living in this coat so much! I got it a while ago as you know from the blog post, but it’s quickly become my favourite jacket due to the slim fit and the gorgeous light brown colour. Padded jackets are always in shades like black, green, navy etc., but this one is really unique and it’s feminine with the nipped in waist – elements that I adore! It’s almost sold out, so snap it up if you can! It’s not a purchase you would regret, I can assure that!

Buy these outfit pieces below:

I layered my Superdry coat over a simple light brown tank top that I’ve had for quite a few years. I’m honestly not even sure where it’s from, it might be from Shein, but I can’t be certain. It’s got a fantastic fit though as it’s slim and elasticated, but the colour really works with the coat.

For my jeans, I chose to wear my older Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop Jeans. I’ve had these for years too, but when it comes to blue jeans, they are still one of my favourite pairs as they have such a flattering fit! It’s always so important to get a pair of light blue jeans that fit well, especially where the back pockets are concerned, and for me personally, these embody everything I look for in a pair of jeans.

Then finally, getting to the part that you’ve been waiting for, my wellies! These are my Hunter Original Tall Wellingtons in Cocoa Gloss. Again, I have had these wellies for years! I believe I got them in 2015, so they’re about 7 years old in my rain boot collection (see a previous outfit here). They’re a very unique colour – in some lights they are a green khaki shade, then in other lights they look brown.

I thought these were the perfect pair of wellies to go with this outfit as they complement the brown tones. This would be a classic rainy day or country walk look that I would wear as brown is mostly my favourite colour to wear. Anyway, I really like how this outfit turned out and I hope you do too! But let me know in the comments below what you think!

I think living in the u.k wellies are a must, and Hunters are still a staple piece that I always have in my closet.

Hi Lorna, wow so wonderful to see your new post. I am so happy to see those Wellies again and so funny you put in the link to 2015. These boots are so good and you really rock them, you look so happy in them. I wish I could go for a walk in country side with you, lol. Still, cool to see you wear them and I hope so some Posts in the future.

I hope I will get them confidence to go out and walk them when I go to the park or country side. Here it is still frowned upon sometimes, escpecially when men are wearing them. Enjoy your day.

Hopefully that stigma changes! If not, move to the UK, lol. Men wear wellies all the time here. It’s just considered a country man thing. Really glad you like the outfit!

Haha, you’re absolutely right. I will wear them more often outside. The UK sounds amazing, but I am staying put, lol.

It’s a shame you went without rubber boot outfits for so long – because they simply look great on you. I hope you share more than just two more rubber boot outfits here and this definitely isn’t the last one – please!

And now – why should it end? What do you want with all your Wellies? Be an English Girl!

Don’t you think that’s a bit rude? You’re projecting your own obsession with wellies onto someone else. I have a very diverse range of fashion choices, which sometimes include wellies, and most often don’t. They are not a fashion staple. If you’re unhappy with my outfit choices, you don’t have to view them.

Thanks for your comments =) I read & reply every one =)
