A Button Up Denim Dress Outfit

Happy Wednesday everyone! We all know that Autumn is my favourite time of the year when it comes to fashion, and I’m really enjoying the outfits that I’ve been wearing lately. I shot a previous blog post where I wore a jumpsuit for autumn, and this time I’m wearing a button up denim up dress for autumn. I originally took these photos for The Jeans Blog, but I ended up loving them so much that I’m sharing them here too.

So, I was wearing a Pixie Girl Petite Button Through Denim Dress and I absolutely love it! I regularly wear petite pieces as I’m 5ft 4 and right on the cusp of petite and regular lengths, but more often than not, I need the shorter arms and length, just like this denim dress. I don’t wear denim dresses all that often, but when it comes to styles like this one, I am in love with how sexy and cute it is at the same time! I absolutely adore the dark indigo wash too – it’s so classic!

I decided to wear this button up denim dress with the Mint Velvet Imogen Boots that you saw before, as I think ankle boots are the perfect option for autumn for a look like this. Plus, the dark brown suede really plays off the indigo blue in my opinion.

I then added in the Accessorize Hat that I wore previously as well, to tie the look together from head to toe. Chic, wider brim hats are great for this time of year and they really add so much dimension to an outfit.

Finally, for my bag, I chose the Coach Tabby 26 Shoulder Bag in White to finish it off. It’s no secret that I have somewhat of a bag addiction or obsession, and I’ve acquired quite a few new ones this year – this Coach Tabby 26 being my latest new piece. It’s such a classic with the iconic C logo clasp.

When it comes to jewellery, I didn’t have much on, but to further enhance this button-up denim dress outfit for a touch of elegance, you might consider pairing it with tanzanite earrings. Earrings made with the gemstone tanzanite add a unique pop of colour and sophistication. Their vibrant blue-violet hue would really complement the classic indigo wash of the denim dress, creating a gorgeous style statement that’s both chic and distinctive.

So that’s the finished outfit featuring a button up denim dress for autumn and I couldn’t resist using the bright orange flowers again for that pop of colour against the blue! I love how autumnal these pictures turned out with the editing I did in Lightroom.
