I’m no stranger to face care, especially when it comes to serums and moisturisers – I have tried so many. There’s a brand that is fairly new to me, called Fresh, which caught my eye recently. They were featured in Vogue’s beauty advent calendar round up, along with other top name brands. They’re also gaining popularity and recognition on Instagram and TikTok etc., which indicated this is a brand worth checking out!
I went on the Fresh website to find out what the hype was about, and I was pleasantly surprised. Their first statement that I read was “By combining potent natural ingredients, ancient rituals, and modern science, fresh creates beauty products that perform with experiences that transform.” I was instantly hooked.
Fresh was founded in 1991 by Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg. They were Russian immigrants living in Boston, and they saw the need for beauty that was both effective and indulgent. This came around as they couldn’t find products that looked, smelled, and felt as good as they worked, so they started making their own. That same passion and pioneering spirit has kept the brand innovative for decades now and I can’t believe that I only just found out about them recently!
When I was looking up the products, I was pleasantly surprised and have added quite a few of them to my wish list of beauty products to try in 2024! They look like the kind of products you would buy into and love, before you fall in love with the brand. You know when you’re shopping and you see something amazing, but you aren’t familiar with that brand? Then you look up more from that company and become addicted? I think that’s what’s going to happen here.
They are dominating the face creams and serums category right now with high quality, luxury products that win awards and gain thousands of reviews on their website. There’s a black tea age delay cream that looks absolutely incredible (I didn’t even know black tea was a skincare ingredient!) and then there’s the award winning tea elixir that I was looking at. It’s an anti-aging serum that powers skin to resist and diminish signs of aging for reduced visible wrinkles, smoother texture, and increased bounce.
From what I have seen, it looks like Fresh is a brand that knows what we want and puts us first when it comes to their products. Which is really reFRESHing to see! See what I did there? Ha ha. Not only is their aesthetic really clean and pretty, but the price points for luxury products is fairly on par with a lot of other high quality brands. They’re using high quality ingredients like Hyluronic Acid, Vitamin C and E, Niacinamide, Vitamin B3, Peptides, Tea, and so many more. I’m only ever interested in using high quality products as they really do make a difference to your skin.
They had a brand new product launch with their Lotus Moisturiser Line (which is a day and night cream) and that already has over 2,000 five star reviews on their site. Some people have said “Every time I try a new Fresh product I think I’ve found my favorite, then I try another and I fall in love with that one! I bought this randomly at Ulta and of my gosh I love it. It’s so hydrating and glows, it feels light but then not too heavy.” and another said “The absolute best night moisturizer that is gentle on my sensitive skin. My skin has been loving the hydration and restoring benefits of this cream, I wake up with my skin glowing and super soft.”
I am convinced that I have been living under a rock! I can’t believe I haven’t tried Fresh yet. I have a lot of catching up to do and a lot of testing their products out to do. So I thought I would share a few of their skincare products with you here that are now on my wish list. I’ve gotten my hormonal acne mostly under control now, but I have texture issues and pigmentation from the red marks, so these are the products I am interested in. The sugar scrub looks perfect!
