A Tailored Trousers Look
Hey everyone! This is something a little different to my usual looks that regularly contain denim or skirts. I’m wearing trousers! I’m no stranger to trousers of course, I’ve worn them before, but usually they’re more of a skinny or tapered fit, or of a satin material. As the trends have changed a lot and masculine trousers are really popular, I decided that I wanted a few pairs as they’re super comfortable.
I picked these Abercrombie & Fitch Slaone Tailored Trousers a few months ago, at the end of summer, so I had plenty of time to wear them before it got too cold. These are the lightweight version, but I have two pairs of the regular version and I adore those as well. They’re just so easy to wear! I was trying to get a black pair, but unfortunately I couldn’t get the lengths right.
I was wearing these Sloane trousers with an Abercrombie & Fitch LuxeLoft Sweater in White, which I sized down in as it runs big. This is super comfortable and soft. I have been living in this for months and I couldn’t recommend it enough! It comes in other colours too, so if you’re looking for a soft knit, this is it! I semi tucked this into the front of my trousers for a more polished, but relaxed look. I then layered on my Reiss Arla Relaxed Blindseam White Coat (in petite) as it really brings the tailoring together – it’s my favourite coat and you will see me wearing it even more in outfits.

For the shoes, I went with my Alexander McQueen Oversized Trainers as I wanted to dress it down a bit and make it daytime appropriate, plus extra comfortable. I really like how loose trousers look with sneakers. There’s something about it that is just edgy and effortless.
I then finished this outfit off with my Celine Pico Belt Bag in Light Taupe! Now this is the first time you’re seeing this colour of the bag. I recently shared my Light Pink Celine Pico Belt Bag with another outfit, but this Light Taupe version didn’t make it to the blog yet. This bag quickly became one of my favourites because it’s so easy to use, and actually spacious for its small size. Plus, it doesn’t have any bold hardware, so it’s really easy to put with anything and any jewellery, which I love! I wore it for a 4 day break in London and it was the most ideal bag!
We shot these photos up at Lansdown Crescent in Bath. It’s a place that I use frequently for photos as I feel like it captures the essence of Bath and makes for a really pleasant backdrop. Plus, unlike all of the other crescents, it’s one of the least busiest, and also one of the cleanest.
So anyway, this is one of my new tailored inspired outfits with a more masculine take on things. Usually I like my pieces to be really girly and feminine, but I love how this turned out. What’s your opinion?

Thank you! Trying my best! Although it’s become really hard to shoot any outside in this current freezing weather. I shot all of these when it was warmer, lol! I’m focusing a lot on reels on my Instagram for new outfits as I shoot them inside! 🙂
I really like the neutral colours in this outfit and you rock those wide legged pants! They look so good on you with the sneakers 🙂
