A Knitted Wrap Dress With DUO Freya Boots

A Knitted Wrap Dress With DUO Freya Boots

Happy Spring everyone! I’m back with another outfit post and instead of going for some classic florals or pastel shades, I’ve gone for an all black ensemble as I’m really feeling black at the moment. It’s an outfit that’s super comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down, depending on the accessories.

So for this look, I chose to wear my Abercrombie & Fitch Knitted Wrap Dress in Black. I purchased this in the petite length in size small and it’s absolutely perfect! I’ve worn this dress a few times already as I’ve owned it for a couple of months. I did want to get the cream and brown versions, but they sold out so quickly in my size that I couldn’t. This is easily one of my favourite dresses though as I find wrap styles to be incredibly flattering, plus this has a leg split and a lower neckline. It’s gorgeous!

Then for the boots, I wore my incredible DUO Freya Knee High Boots in Black Leather. Those of you that have followed me for a while will know that DUO is the only boot brand that I swear by when it comes to knee high or above. I have smaller sized calves for the size of my feet, so if I try and buy regular size boots from any other company, my legs are usually swimming in them.

The amazing thing about DUO is that they offer 9 shoe sizes and also 8 different calf sizes, all the way from a size 30cm up to a 50cm. My calves measure 34cm, so I take size 35cm in their boots. They did used to offer every centimeter in sizes and I would regularly wear 33 or 34, which was the ultimate perfect fit, but now they narrowed their calf sizes down a little, 35 is my size.

I fell in love with the Freya as soon as I saw them online. They come in multiple colours and even crocodile print, but I went with the classic black leather. They fit amazingly well and even have stretch panels for extra comfort. The heel isn’t too high either and they’re comfortable to walk in. They’re killer boots! Some of their styles come in tall and petite lengths as well, in case you need it! These are the regular length. These boots were gifted, but I buy their boots as well and just purchased a new pair that I’ll show you soon.

Then finally, I went with my brand new Edge of Ember Deco Birthstone Necklace in Peridot for August. I’m slightly obsessed with this brand at the moment! I then finished the whole outfit off with my Demellier The Tokyo Shoulder Bag in Black. Remember when I did a blog post on the alternative Saint Laurent Le 5 a 7 bag dupes, well this was the main one that I was raving about. Some of you already purchased this bag from that blog post, and I’m planning to do an actual review on it very soon as I’ve already shot the photos.

For the price point, it’s amazing! I’ve worn this bag for many outfits and I actually like some various elements on this one, more than the Le 5 a 7. The gold hardware is fantastic and it’s made with great craftsmanship in the south of Spain. It’s such a feminine design and costs much less than the Saint Laurent. It’s £345 before discount. They came out with a nude colour that I really want too, and because the brand is sustainable, that’s even better. Anyway, I hope you love this outfit, please let me know in the comments below of course!
