A Blue Abercrombie Floral Midi Summer Dress Outfit
Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine that we’ve been having, along with some much needed warmer weather! It’s been far too cold for far too long! I’m also loving the fact that it hasn’t been raining much lately – now that’s wonderful! It’s meant that I can shoot a lot more photos and I have some lovely outfits that I have put together and will be sharing with you soon! This is the first one of the summer vibes that I only want to wear from now on until autumn!
I was wearing this gorgeous Abercrombie & Fitch Midi Summer Dress in Blue Floral which I got last month. I actually own this exact dress in a pretty green shade, and all black, and I think it’s stunning! It has such an amazing, flattering fit, with the split up the front, I think you can’t go wrong with it! It’s lined as well, so it’s really good quality. I actually find pretty much all of Abercrombie & Fitch’s items good quality. They aren’t as good as they used to be back in the day, nothing is, but compared to most brands, they’re still high up there and that’s something that I appreciate!
I took a size small in this dress and it is the regular length. I do have the green version in the petite length as that one needed to be a little bit shorter, but at 5ft 4, I am just on the cusp of petite and regular, depending on the brand. If you’re my height or so, I would order both and see how each length works! There’s around 2 inches difference in length between the petite and regular lengths in this midi dress.
It has adjustable thin straps, a zipper at the back so you can step into the dress instead of putting it over your head (which is amazing when you’ve done your hair and makeup and don’t want to ruin it), and a lovely bust area that’s slightly ruched for a flattering look. It has a nice waist panel too, so it shows off your figure beautifully! I have zero complaints with this dress.

I paired this gorgeous Abercrombie & Fitch Midi Dress with my brand new Tkees Serena White Sandals. I got these from Net-A-Porter after searching for months for the perfect, off white sandals that will match my Saint Laurent Small Manhattan. I tried so many, and finally came across this pair from Tkees and they ended up being perfect. They are a little stiff so I am worried that they might hurt my feet, but I’m trying to break them in at the moment and may do a review on them soon. I’m taking them with me to the United States soon, so we will see how they hold up and whether I get any blisters! They are literally a 99% colour match though, so I can’t complain! Everything else was just ‘too white’ and that didn’t work.
And moving onto the accessories, I of course had my Saint Laurent YSL Small Manhattan Bag in Blanc Vintage – which is probably one of my favourite bags at the moment. It’s in the top 3 that’s for sure! It’s the perfect summer shoulder bag and works with everything. You’ve seen it so many times now since I did my review on it, but I thought I would match it to my gold jewellery!
I have on two different gold rings from Daisy London, and one of their bracelets, and their Vita and beaded chain necklace, as well as a gold ring from Lily & Roo, which is another favourite jewellery brand of mine. The gold is a perfect match to the gold hardware on the bag, which I’m happy about! And I opted for white nails to finish things off. If you’re interested in this colour, it’s OPI Funny Bunny – it takes around 3 coats to not be opaque.
Anyway, this is the whole outfit and the details of what I’m wearing for this summertime midi dress look. I think it’s absolutely perfect for any summer events that you have coming up! It can be dressed up with heels and a clutch for something smarter like a wedding, and it can be dressed down with sandals and a cross-body bag for a daytime event like a BBQ. You really can’t go wrong in my opinion! I absolutely love it. What do you think? Please leave a comment below and let me know!
