On My Way Down To Cape Town

This is the first time that I have worn a cape even though I have wanted to try one for a couple of years. Capes are becoming a lot more popular at the moment and for Autumn especially, so I’m expecting to see them out and about a bit more frequently on celebs and fashion bloggers. I received this beautiful Warehouse cape coat when I was able to choose something to style and I quite liked how sporty it felt but at the same time it was structured. It’s a little bit big for me even though it’s a size small, but I think the pairing of it with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket jeans in Axel and my Christian Louboutin Pigalle in Black helps keep things sleek and balanced. I then finished it off with some various bracelets and rings from Topshop and ASOS. It’s definitely different to what I am used to, but I think I like it!

On another note, I was actually brave and got my hair cut yesterday. I had all of the blonde chopped off so I had a good 4 inches off the ends and I had my fringe cut back in, quite heavily, so I actually have a style now. I’m already missing my ombre though so I’m thinking of getting it put back in, professionally this time and a lot more subtle.     Sort of continuing the Goldilocks theme as I imagine she wore a cape like that, or was it little Red Riding Hood 🙂 Oops, answered my own question, I see your cape has a hood.         Well, while I was just stopping by to enjoy you in that flowery dress from last post (i finally just saved a copy of that shot so I can stop bothering you about it 😀 ) and saw your cute reply. Hmmmm, a new fairy tale look for you….a Disney Princess seems too obvious, you are spot on for that already…How about Mr. Incredible’s wife from The Incredibles? You would look pretty amazing in that uniform 🙂
