A Lilac Floral Dress With Celine Tilly

You may notice that my hair is still long in these pictures, and that’s because they were shot over the summertime last year, and I hadn’t yet gotten around to posting them! I know! I still have a few sets to share with you where I have longer hair.

Actually, looking back on my photos with long hair, though, I do miss it! It was just too hard to keep it maintained and looking nice, especially with my health at the moment. Hopefully, in the future, when I’m better, I will be able to grow it out again!

For this outfit, I was wearing a beautiful Floral Lilac Dress from Hollister. This was one of my favourite dresses to wear during the warmer weather, and I cannot wait to wear it again! It’s so beautiful! I love the little tie on the chest area, the buttons on the front of the stomach, along with the high split up the leg. It also has elasticated sides to make sure it hugs the waist.

I paired this dress with my Dune Cream Sandals and my Celine Tilly Bag in Sahara. I always love wearing neutral pieces for accessories, especially when it comes to having a statement dress that I’m wearing. That way, nothing overpowers the outfit. The sandals achieve the minimalism I was going for, with a block heel, and the bag is a subtle little pop against the lilac background.

One thing I do love about the spring and summer months is the beautiful dresses! I never used to be much of a dress person. Those of you who have followed me for years will know that I was always a skinny jeans and leather jackets or blazers type of girl when it came to my personal style. But that’s definitely evolved, and as the weather heats up a lot more these days, dresses have become a staple of mine. They’re just much easier to wear and lighter, so I don’t overheat. I also love my femininity, and dresses really provide that for me.

Unfortunately, since these outfit pieces are older now and from around a year ago, they are no longer in stock anywhere, so I cannot link you to any of them. I have to do a much better job of posting my pictures as soon as I get new pieces. But since I am being much better behaved in my consumer habits these days, I will do my best to match items available to pieces that I already own going forward!
